Extending Grace

Pastor Paul explains the difference in experiencing grace and extending grace. He says experiencing grace is welcomed but extending grace is not. Extending grace to others is difficult and painful but essential according to Matthew 18:21-35. In this text Pastor Paul points out the similarities in grace and forgiveness; explaining that they both are undeserved, unearned and unfair. Forgiveness is required in extending grace to others. This is a message we all can relate to so let's jump into Matthew 18.

Based on our "Who Cares?" theme, "Experiencing Grace" is a sermon series that will teach us that we must experience grace personally before we can extend grace to others. Ephesians 2:8-9 gives us a working definition of grace (unmerited favor) and Jesus models how we are to demonstrate grace but ultimately to understand grace we first must experience it. This is going to be an incredible sermon series. You will NOT want to miss it.
