The world we live is confusing.  Our society tells us that real love is defined by how we feel…real success is dependent on how much money we have or what kind of car we drive… it tells us there’s no such thing as real truth.  But God’s Word tells us that the reality, or substance, is found in Christ (Colossians 2:17).  Our study of God’s Word on Sundays and Wednesdays will show us that God’s truth defines our reality.  Jesus Christ IS truth (John 14:6) and in Him we can find our way through the maze of this world.

East Union Baptist Church is a great place for teenagers. There are activities each week that give teens opportunities to learn about Jesus, grow in Him, hang out with other teens, and use their gifts and talents to minister to others.

There is a place for every teenager at East Union Baptist Church.  There are great opportunities for teens to learn about Jesus, to grow spiritually, to fellowship with other young people, to worship GOD, and to use the gifts and talents GOD gave them to serve Him.

Weekly, teens have great opportunities to grow spiritually & worship the Lord together.  Sunday School & Xtreme Student Life give teens a chance to hear how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives.  Each Sunday provides two opportunities to worship the Lord together as a part of the East Union family.

Teenagers at East Union take part in various monthly activities.  Depending on the time of year, teens attend youth conferences, go to sporting events, go to the local Nursing Home & present programs, go to church camp, take part in a mission trip, or just hang out in the Life Center & the Loft (youth hangout room) and play basketball, ping pong, air hockey & more.

East Union teens develop leadership skills by working in such ministries as Children’s Chapel, choir, orchestra, Upward Sports & by taking part in the Student-led worship services.
