Wave Walkers is designed for 2nd through 5th grade. It takes place every Sunday morning after Sunday school in the east wing of the Life Center. The children have snacks and worship together. At game time, they are separated into two groups: 2nd-3rd graders and 4th-5th graders. One group stays for the Bible message while the other goes to games, and then after 15 minutes they switch. The basic schedule for Wave Walkers is as follows:
Snack Time………………10:00-10:15 a.m.
Worship…………………..10:15-10:30 a.m.
Bible Message/Games……10:30-11:00 a.m.
Our goal is that the children know Christ as their Savior and Lord. We pray that they will become committed followers and learners of our Lord Jesus Christ for the rest of their lives. We want to lay a biblical foundation in the lives of the children. Our desire is that as they learn from the Word of God they learn to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, and strength.
Security Precaution
We do our best to have parents sign their children out before leaving. We ask them to give us their name and the child’s name along with their cell phone number. This is so we can be accountable and ensure the safety of the children.
