We have begun our 2011-2012 Basketball and Cheerleading registration for children at least 5 years of age to children in 6th grade.
You can register online by clicking here or pick up a registration form in the church lobby. Forms can be completed and submitted with registration fee at our church office anytime between 9AM – 4PM Monday – Thursday.How to register online:
Click here to register online. You will be redirected to a safe and secure website where you must create a new account. You will first be asked for your contact information and another parent/guardian’s contact information. Then, you can enter as many children as you would like to participate. Once all information is received, you will be asked for your credit card information. After submission, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration payment. You can logon anytime to edit your information.
Registration Fees for Basketball and Cheerleading are:
$35 – Early registration (Before December 5th)
$45 – Registration from December 6th – January 7th registration deadline.
Included in the registration fees are basketball shorts for players and cheerleading mock turtlenecks for cheerleaders.
Evaluations
Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation. This will take place in our Family Life Center on Tuesday, November 15th from 6 pm – 8pm.
League Schedule
Practices will begin the week of Monday, December 5th, 2012.
First games will be held Saturday, January 7th, 2012.
Awards celebration will be held on February 25, 2012.

Upwards Sports
Because we desire to reach East End and the surrounding communities for Jesus Christ, we are excited to offer soccer, basketball and cheerleading leagues through Upwards Sports.
Upwards Sports is an evangelistic sports ministry serving boys and girls in our community from 4 years of age through sixth grade. Even though we teach sport fundamentals and the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship, our main goal is to introduce children to Jesus Christ and nurture their spiritual growth. Each practice focuses on key scripture to help children learn about God’s plan for their life – all while having fun with coaches and teammates as they enjoy the sport.
Our members have many opportunities to get involved and reach children, parents, families and friends with the Gospel. They can serve as coaches and referees or through prayer, half-time devotionals/testimonials and concessions.
