Worship, Connect, Serve

East Union's purpose can be summed up in three words: worship, connect & serve. If you want to know why East Union exists these three words paint an accurate picture of the heartbeat of this great church. We strive to lead people to worship God, connect with others and serve the world by remaining Biblically sound and culturally relevant.

Worship is essential to every believer's life. The greatest priority of East Union is that we lead people to worship God. We go to great lengths to make sure everyone experiences God in a clear, powerful and accurate way. You're always invited to worship no matter what your gender, age, race, nationality or background is. You will always be welcome to worship God with freedom at East Union.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer  the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (Hebrews 13:15 NKJV)

Connecting to the Word of God and other believers is a major link in the chain of spiritual growth. Here at East Union we place a high value on connecting. You see, we understand that worship is the first step in experiencing God but the next step is to grow in the Lord. We offer several great LifeGroups (Bible studies) where anyone can experience spiritual growth and develop relationships with other believers. We would love, love to help you get connected to one of our great LifeGroups.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.  Now all who believed were together, and  had all things in common, (Acts 2:42, 44 NKJV)

Serving the Lord by serving others is the pinnacle of spiritual growth. East Union is a church that is known for serving others. The Bible is extremely clear in its mandate to spend our lives in serving others. We offer a variety of opportunities for people to serve for those in our community and around the world, and opportunities to serve in ministry right here at East Union. If you have a talent you want to use for the Lord, please see one of our staff member and we will get you plugged in, in no time.

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4:10-11 NKJV)
