All women, ages 18 – up, are cordially invited and encouraged to attend our monthly Lydia Circle meetings. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month (except July), 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. A short devotion is given each month by volunteer speakers from within the group. The task is strictly on a voluntary basis, and the speaker determines her own subject matter. Each year, Lydia Circle hosts a church-wide Christmas party for the women of the church. A fun-filled Fall Retreat is usually held in October. Lydia ladies also organize the Thanksgiving Basket ministry, a golf tournament to raise mission trip funds, a Ladies Tea in the Spring, as well as other events throughout the year. Lydia Circle is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow church ladies in a fun and friendly setting. At the conclusion of each meeting, prayer requests are shared. Desserts and drinks are provided, as well as free child care. Our prayer is that you come join us! Why not put us on your calendar right now?

March 2012 Meeting Notes
Twenty-six ladies enjoyed our monthly meeting on Tuesday, the 13th of March. Desserts were provided by Brenda Wall, Tereasa Holmes, and Judy Jackson. The speaker was Barbara Spann, who presented a wonderful lesson on the ‘Bad Girls of the Bible.’ We learned who was bad for a moment, bad to the bone, bad sometimes, and bad for a season.
Next month’s lesson will be presented by Teresa Bradley. Desserts will be provided by Julie Peery, Monica Palmer and Kristen Stinnett.
April 10th is the date of the Ladies District Meeting that we are hosting at East Union. The day will start at 9:45 a.m., so please be there if you can. Salads, desserts and chilli are needed, if you can help. Bro. Dennis Holmes will be preaching.
