Paul Roberts, Senior Pastor
Bro. Paul grew up in the East End community. After pastoring in Colt and Sheridan, Arkansas, he returned to join the staff of East Union in 1993. He became Senior Pastor in 1994. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from UALR and a Master of Theology from Missionary Baptist Seminary.

Doug Goodman, High School Minister – 9th – 12th grade students
Doug has worked as youth minister at East Union since June 1994. He married his sweetheart, Stephanie, in 1997 and they have 4 wonderful kids, Savannah, Molly, Grady & Emma. Doug’s desire for the youth of East End and surrounding areas is that they would trust in Christ as their Savior and Lord, be baptized, and grow spiritually through the ministry of the church. His life verses are Proverbs 3:5-6 and he loves to hang out with his family and enjoys playing guitar and being in God’s great outdoors.

Matt Terry, Middle School Minister – 6th – 8th grade students
Josh Garcia, Children’s Minister – 1st – 5th grade students
Josh is originally from San Juan, Texas a neighboring city of McAllen, Texas. His father Jesus Garcia is a missionary to the border city of Reynosa, Mexico. Bro. Josh moved to Little Rock in the summer of 2006 to study in the Missionary Baptist Seminary. In the fall of 2006 he began to work with children through the AWANA program at East Union. He became the Children’s Minister at East Union in January of 2009. The goal of the Children’s Ministry at East Union is to lead boys and girls to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. Once they have trusted in Christ they must learn to love Him with all their being and obey Him. The objective is that they will become faithful followers of Jesus and obtain the abundant life that He promises to those who have believed.
Mark Davis, Minister of Music
Bro. Mark Davis is a 1986 Graduate of Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR where he holds degrees in both Music Education and Physical Education. Mark taught in public schools and coached high school football in Arkansas and Florida. He has served in several churches, in Arkansas and Florida, in various music and college and youth ministries over the last 26 years. Mark joined the staff at East Union in the summer of 2004 as Minister of Music. Mark has been married for almost 27 years. He and his wife, Denise, have two children – Harmony and Hayden.
Dennis Holmes, Outreach & Senior Citizens Minister
Bro. Dennis surrendered into the ministry in 1974 and has served as a pastor for 35 years. He is a graduate of the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bro. Dennis has served the Lord in areas of revivals, marriage conferences, mission trips to Mexico and the Philippines, youth camp director and has written youth camp literature. Bro. Dennis’ passion for souls has led him to attend numerous soul winning conferences and led churches which he has pastored in successful soul winning endeavors. Prior to joining the staff of East Union, he had pastored six churches in the state of Arkansas. Bro. Dennis and his wife, Tereasa, have been married for thirty-six years. They are blessed with their oldest daughter, Nikki Koon and husband, Willie and youngest daughter Stephanie Bennett and husband, Eddie. They have four grandchildren: Kallie and Justin Koon and Trey and Sam Bennett.
Joy Henard, Preschool Coordinator
Joy joined the East Union staff as Preschool Coordinator in August of 2011. She is a 1992 graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Education. She taught middle school math and coached in Oklahoma and Texas for 11 years, serving in local youth ministries and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Joy married husband, Jeff, in 1995. Following the birth of their first child, Joy joined MOPS (Mother’s of Preschoolers), where she served for 8 years. She and Jeff are now the proud parents of 3 children-Graci, Emma, and Abby. Ephesians 1:17-20

Trish Stewart, Secretary
Trish joined our staff in March 2009. She attended the Univ. of Central Arkansas where she obtained a degree in Marketing . Before coming to East Union, Trish served in a preschool ministry in Little Rock as a Mother’s Day Out Director, Preschool Director, and taught at East End Elementary as a substitute school teacher for two years. Trish and her husband Chris have been married for 20 years. They have two children- Kaylee and Kimberlee. The main focus of the preschool ministry is to teach children that they are very important to Jesus—that He loves them and cares for them.

Lisa Ball, Church Custodian
Lisa has faithfully served as custodian since 2001 and has been a member of East Union since 1991. She has been married to Ronnie for over 25 years and has two children, Rachel and RJ. Rachel has two children and RJ serves in the U.S. Marine Corp. When she is not coordinating events held at our facilities, she enjoys riding her Goldwing with her husband. She is very active with the Senior Saints and enjoys photographing different events and activities at the church.
Kay Spann, Church Custodian
Since 2004, Kay and her family have been members of our church. Shortly after, she joined our staff as custodian. Kay is married to Phil Spann and they have 4 children, Hagan, Cheyenne, Tasha and Zack.
